The Next discussion group will be part of the wonderful Feminist Day School being organised by the Edinburgh University Feminists on Sunday the 7th of March in Teviot Union. More information about the whole event can be found here http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=321813913901. Our contribution will be at 17.30, we’ll be having a discussion about the future of feminism in Edinburgh and beyond. This venue is wheelchair accessible but it can be a bit hard to find so you may have to ask. Children are welcome as always, and for this month our discussion will not be women only, so anyone welcome. If you aren’t a student then you will need photo id to get in.

Sorry, to have missed event – anything else on the horizon and would love to attend the monthly meetings – when and where? Is it okay to bring children to the monthly meetings?
Hi Hannah,
Usually our meetings are on the first Sunday of every month, in the MacDonald Road library on Leith Walk 3-5pm. You’d be very welcome! Children are also welcome, and its a big room, I usually bring some drawing things, and we can borrow Childrens books from next door to keep wee folk entertained. The next meeting there will be the 2nd May. Unfortunately the April meeting falls on Easter Sunday, so we’ve had to postpone it for a couple of weeks and it’ll be on Sunday the 18th, the Library is booked, so we will temporarily have that meeting in the Library Cafe in George Square (A public cafe, attached to the university library) as its cheap and cheerful, wheelchair accessible and quiet during student holidays. It won’t be as child-friendly, but can still bring colouring things!
Hope this sounds okay, any questions let me know…
