Scary little girls have brought their feminist cabaret show to Edinburgh festival and would be great if you could come to support us!

Every year, Mistress Lilith and Madame Magdalene fling wide the doors of their Academy for Higher Consciousness, welcoming the lovely people to come and play. Inside it’s a gleeful musical spree with a fizzy electro-pop centre that puts the “camp” squarely into “campaigning” and pauses only for drinking, cakes and games.
With their new friends and the occasional special guest visitor in tow, our wonderfully moustachioed heroines helter-skelter into dozens of womankind’s – and music’s – most empowering moments.
Along the way, they grab fistfuls of inspiration, from Mrs Merton and Nina Simone, Jane Russell and Le Tigre, 60s girl groups and Buffy – and the result is as uplifting as it is surreal.
The sparkliest gang in town is recruiting. Are you ready for your initiation?

Open to all!
New feminist musical coming to the Edinburgh Fringe!
It is Scotland in the 1950’s.
Potential future musical singer Evolyn Wright-Walsh (Justine Hayes) struggles to overcome her traumatic memories concerning her parent’s death. She is suppressed by her neglectful husband Jack Wright (Nathan Potter), a business man, who seems to be less and less interested in his wife. After a truly unforgivable aberration, Evolyn, with support from her brother, Steven Walsh, finally steps up.
A brand new musical about relationships and feminism.
Written, composed, produced and staged by Queen Margaret University drama students.
This musical is of great interest to anyone who believes in the rights of women and anyone against violence to women!
Please come support us at the Fringe!
